We are thrilled to announce the founding of the Latin American Pain Society (LAPS). LAPS was founded in 2022 as a non-profit organization with the goal of promoting pain medicine training in Latin America.

 

To achieve this, LAPS will focus on fostering high-quality scientific research and publication, providing highly qualified theoretical and practical training courses guided by ultrasound and fluoroscopy to advance evidence-based clinical practice in interventional pain management techniques. Furthermore, LAPS will seek to bring together experts in the field to collaborate and improve pain management for both cancer and non-cancer patients.

 

Additionally, LAPS is committed to putting all resources into bringing together brilliant minds and academic leaders on a common platform and working together to raise the bar and deliver the best pain care to our oncology and non-oncology patients.

 

Following the enormous success of the Second Latin American Pain Society (LAPS) Congress in Mexico City, Mexico, we are delighted to announce the dates for the next congress, to be held in Santiago, Chile, from September 10-13, 2025. The Third LAPS Congress offers a comprehensive scientific program to provide cutting-edge information on advanced interventional techniques, advanced regenerative medicine, spinal and peripheral neuromodulation therapies, and minimally invasive spinal procedures, including intradiscal procedures, radiofrequency ablation, intrathecal drug therapies, emerging new interventional techniques, disease-modifying therapies, abstract presentations, and much more!

 

This LAPS congress will invite leading experts in pain management from national and international renown to share their knowledge and have the opportunity to interact with their colleagues.

 

We welcome our industry and pharmaceutical partners to showcase the latest advancements and cutting-edge technologies at our events, presenting the most recent research and its implications for improved patient care.
